… Benedict won his first BAFTA after 8 nominations (7 for BAFTA TV and 1 for BAFTA Film) for his performance as the title character of Showtime’s ‘Patrick Melrose’ (2018), a role he got after saying he’d like to play it in a AMA session on Reddit?


Benedict Cumberbatch has won and been nominated to several awards for his work on Cinema, TV, Theatre and Radio. Well acclaimed, the actor has won an Emmy for Sherlock, a BAFTA for Patrick Melrose, and an Olivier for Frankenstein. In 2015, Cumberbatch had been nominated for an Academy Award for his portrayal as Alan Turing in The Imitation Game.
