Last Saturday, 30 October, Benedict read at the Letters Live event held at the Royal Albert Hall in London.
He joined a great cast that included: Brian Cox, Daisy Ridley, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Cynthia Erivo, Louise Brealey, Gillian Anderson, Armistead Maupin, Meera Syal, Matt Lucas, Toby Jones, Emma Corrin, Keegan Michael Key, Ione Wells and Thom Yorke, who also performed as one of the musical guests of the night, alongside Tom Odell, Laura Mvula and The Gabriels.
Benedict read two letters: ‘How can you live like this?’ from Oliver Beale to Richard Branson and ‘Hello, it’s me’ from Cyrus Thatcher to his family.
